In Erpag the credit functionality in Sales, primarily handled through credit notes, serve as a mechanism to reduce, adjust or cancel the amount a customer owes on a previously issued invoice. You can use it to correct errors, process returned goods, or apply discounts after generating an invoice.
To create a credit note in Erpag, the sales order must be Invoiced. Once you generate an invoice, the button for the credit note will appear. It doesn’t matter whether the document is unpaid or partly paid.

Once you click the button, a window opens where you can enter the credit amount or the amount including tax (in which case the system automatically calculates the amount and tax).

The amount of the created credit note will appear in the upper part of your sales order, when you click on the Info button of the Settled block, along with the date of creation and amount of the credit.

The list of issued documents is located under Sales > Credit notes

In this list you will see:
– Invoice number
– Date and time of the created credit document
– Customer
– City
– Sales order number
– Date and time of created sales order
– Amount of the credit
– Warehouse
You also have the ability to add a Tag and Owner to the list. You can filter and group these columns in order to create custom reports.
By checking the boxes in front of the wanted credit notes, you can Print, save to G-drive, email and download selected documents via Bulk.

In order to make the credit note visible on your invoice printout, go to:
Automatization/Customization > Report designer and make the adjustments to the wanted document.
