Managing user permissions at the document level helps control access to important information.
Administrators can decide which actions each user is allowed to perform.
In this manual we will go through the Document section, which also covers important aspects of user authorization:

Permissions can include editing, printing, downloading, or customizing documents. Specific rights related to user authorization can be granted for tasks, such as changing prices or assigning the documents.
This improves security by limiting sensitive actions to authorized users only.
It also helps maintain better control and accountability within the system.
Based on the Legend with options you can see in the image, you can manage workflow in your company smoothly, thanks in part to carefully defined user authorization for every action:

Edit: Exchange Rate
An exchange rate is the value of one country’s currency compared to another country’s currency. It tells you how much of one currency you need to buy a unit of another.
For example:
- If 1 US Dollar (USD) = 0.92 Euro (EUR), the exchange rate between the US dollar and the euro is 0.92.
- This means 1dollar can be exchanged for 0.92 euros.
When unchecked, that means that the Operator won’t be able to edit the field on the document level unless their user authorization allows it :

Setup: Custom fields
Enables you to add extra, personalized data fields to a form, record, or system so you can collect or store information that isn’t included by default, provided your user authorization grants access.
Edit: Price tiers
Enables you to change how your product or service is priced across different levels, regions, or customer groups, but only if your user authorization allows these changes.

Material loading: Surplus
When enabled, Material loading shows a surplus, meaning more material can be loaded than required. User authorization can restrict or allow this feature.
If it is not enabled, the Operator will not be able to load more material than required due to their user authorization settings :

Edit: Search scope
Determines where and how broadly a search is performed within a system.
When unchecked, it will not appear at all in the system, on the item level, customer level, supplier level, etc., unless user authorization specifically grants access.
When Read only option is selected you will be able to see the field, however, you will not be able to edit it unless your user authorization permits such edits.

This option in the system enables users to generate a hard copy or printable version of data from the system, often requiring proper user authorization to access printing functions.

When denied, Operators will not be able to print from the system due to user permission limitations.
Download
This option enables users to save data or files from the system to their device, sometimes depending on individual user authorization.

When denied, operators will not be able to download from the system as a result of user restrictions.
Customize
The Customize option allows users to modify system settings. It lets you adjust layouts and display preferences.
You can personalize fields, columns, or dashboards.
When denied, operators will not be able to see the function at all.
When enabled, it will appear in the lower left corner and user authorization will determine who can access these features :

Priority
Priority indicates the level of importance or urgency assigned to a task, request, or issue. Setting priority often depends on user permission granted by the system.
When disabled, the operator will not be able to change priority due to restrictions in user authorization.
Assigned: Another user
