You have probably noticed that we have implemented a new feature in the system. This enhancement targets upkeep and refurbishment efficiency. It is crucial for all repair and maintenance tasks.
It’s called Repairs and maintenance for business associates – Customers and Suppliers
When you go to the Customers or Suppliers section in Erpag, you will see this option on the right side of the screen. It has several functions within.

- Update on documents
- Move to – Webshop customers
- Merge duplicates (Key)
- Merge duplicates (Tax Identification Number)
- Merge duplicates (e-mail)
* Update on documents refers to:
If in the past you have created documents with customers, invoiced and completed the documents, you made a change on the customer level (or supplier level) such as Company name, email address. Then you can make a change and update the document, ensuring all repair and maintenance records are consistent.
Note: You must select the date before the date of document creation so Erpag can pull and show the changes.

* Move to – Webshop customers refers to:
If you wish to convert regular and current customer to a Webshop customer, you can also do the reverse. This facilitates both repair and maintenance tracking across platforms.

*Merge duplicates*
Key – Tax Identification number – e-mail
This refers to: if you have duplication in the system, then you can merge the customers/suppliers based on the advised information. This helps in maintaining accurate repair and maintenance logs.
Select duplicated customers (if they are duplicated by KEY, they will be highlighted in RED).

On the right side, go to Repairs and Maintenance > Merge (key, tax ID, e-mail) for an efficient merge process.

After you confirm the Merging, the process is complete!

With this new feature within Erpag, you will be able to easily solve discrepancies you might have created in the system. It is particularly helpful in repair and maintenance workflows.
However, this does not mean that you can merge a Customer and Supplier into one business associate. If you have a Business Associate that is both your Supplier and Customer, you will have to have it set up as different entities.
Stay tuned for more updates!
